Clara Borders
Head of School
Ms. Borders joined the academy as the Head of School in 2017 and is responsible for the overall functioning of the school with a commitment to ensuring that the academy continues to provide students with an authentic AMI Montessori education. Ms. Borders has her AMI Certification from The Montessori Institute in Denver, her undergraduate degree in Sociology, and her Master’s degree in Montessori Education. She was the Director of a small Montessori school in Missouri for 5 years and then became the Assistant Director of a large Montessori school in Maryland serving nearly 200 students for 2.5 years.
